Speedvision and Squarebody Headquarters Announce Partnership to Produce New Original Series
One Man, One Truck

Los Angeles, CA / Bullhead City AZ —DEC 22 2025 -- Speedvision and Squarebody Headquarters today announced a strategic content partnership to produce a new original automotive television series titled One Man, One Truck, a documentary-style build series chronicling the creation of the world’s first full reproduction 1973 Chevrolet Squarebody pickup.

The series follows renowned builder and Squarebody Headquarters founder Mark Oja as he undertakes an unprecedented challenge: single-handedly designing and assembling a brand-new, from-the-ground-up reproduction of one of the most iconic trucks ever produced. Filmed in an intimate, self-shot format, One Man, One Truck strips away reality TV theatrics in favor of authenticity, craftsmanship, and personal storytelling.

“Speedvision was built on real automotive passion, real builders, and real stories,” said a Speedvision creator Bob Scanlon. “One Man, One Truck embodies everything our audience expects from the network—heritage, hands-on engineering, and a deep emotional connection to the machines that shaped American culture.”

The series documents every phase of the build process, from concept and engineering through fabrication, paint, assembly, and final reveal. Each episode serves as a chapter in a larger narrative about perseverance, identity, and preserving automotive history by bringing it back—brand new.

“For decades, Squarebody trucks have represented freedom, work ethic, and individuality,” said Mark Oja, founder of Squarebody Headquarters. “This project isn’t about restoring the past—it’s about rebuilding it correctly, honestly, and with respect. Partnering with Speedvision allows us to tell that story at the level it deserves.”

One Man, One Truck is positioned as a flagship series that bridges classic automotive culture with modern production values, appealing to longtime enthusiasts as well as a new generation discovering Squarebody trucks for the first time.

Production is underway, with the series slated to premiere on Speedvision in 2026, alongside digital and streaming distribution extensions.
